Service Description

A qEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram) is a diagnostic tool that measures electrical activity in the form of brain wave patterns. It is sometimes referred to as “brain mapping.” Quantitative electroencephalogram (QEEG) is the mathematical analysis of the brain’s electrical activity, mainly power spectral analyses, to obtain metrics that may be associated with behavioral-cognitive function. When an individual’s QEEG is compared to a normative database representing the general population (denoted QEEG normative database) There is no signal sent to your brain during this test. We are only monitoring your brainwaves. The entire test takes less then an 1 hour, and your only duty is to sit relaxed in the chair while our train technition works through the process of setting up the cap, check the signal quality, and recording of 10 minutes of data. After the test is done, the cap is cleaned and steralized for the next client. The QEEG data is then processed for analysis which results in a written report and a comprehensive review with our Medical Doctors.
